The ban will take effect from October 3 to March 29
Vehicles will be banned from traveling on the Nguyen Huu Canh overpass in Binh Thanh District as part of a road upgrade project to be conducted in upcoming months, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport.
The ban will take effect from October 3 to March 29.
Cars wishing to get to Nguyen Huu Canh Street from the Saigon Bridge can take an alternative route by making a U-turn on Dien Bien Phu Street at its intersection with Nguyen Van Thuong Street.
Two-wheeled vehicles can make a U-turn at the Hang Xanh intersection.
Last year, authorities built a concrete median strip blocking the Nguyen Van Thuong – Dien Bien Phu intersection to renovate roads and drainage systems on this route.
The concrete median strip will be removed before the upcoming road upgrade begins.
